The Mission District???  Isn't that where all the buildings collapsed
during the 1989 earthquake?  The sandfill foundations did them in, as I
recall.

I remember that the string on unusual museums sometime ago mentioned
several in the Bay area.  I think I saved most of those replies.  I'll have
to look 'em up.
