Dear Listers,

I would love some advice/ suggestions for my job search here in NYC.
Currently I am a project manager at a print & web design firm; I have an MA
in History of Dec. Arts, and have worked in both museums and an auction
house.

Now I would like to take my project management role back into the museum
world as a project manager/ coordinator at a firm creating installations &
exhibitions for cultural institutions/museums/corporations. I know this may
seem to be a narrow focus, but I am really looking for a company to spend at
least the next 5-7 years with. While I have begun contacting some firms, I
would welcome any suggestions you all might have. I would be interested in
the NY/NJ/CT area.

In the meantime, I am curious about whether there are freelance (2-4 month)
projects that I could work on in a project coordinator capacity. (Can you
tell that I am ready to move on from my current job?!) Again, any advice
would be welcome.

Thanks so much for your time & ideas,

Daphne Nash
