The Canadian Museum of Civilization is starting the design of a traveling
exhibit on the history of Native American ranching and rodeo on the Canadian
and US Plains and Plateau. Among other topics the exhibit will focus on the
relationship between aboriginal people and the horse, dog and buffalo. Other
components will include cowboy music, poetry, saddlemaking, silversmithing,
western fashion design,  etc by Native musicians, artists, and craftspeople.
We would like to have the exhibit travel internationally. To
help us plan the size and interactive contents of the exhibit  we would like to
hear from any museum that might be interested in borrowing this show.
