Hello Museum-L community,

What is the best way to remove some double stick tape from a walnut
cabinet WITHOUT damaging the wood? The cabinet is used for a display
in the reception area. The wood shows beautiful grain. The wood is
either lacquered or is protected with poly-urethane. The surface is
not not shiny, more mat/satin. I am worried that it can be porous
enough to absorb something like goo-gone. Any suggestions, please?
