I've always thought the current climate in Creationist vs.
Evolutionist theory could benefit from a few well-timed museum/library
showings of "Inherit the Wind". Cheesy and outdated it may be, but the
idea that it's not impossible, should any given deity wish, to indeed
create the world by guiding the scientifically-kosher steps of
evolution stayed with me quite a long time. And then there's the
concept of keeping the self-apparent enmity between the two within the
bounds of scholarly debate.

Fusion can be a beautiful thing, and this battle was already fought
once, years ago. As Twain said, History does not repeat itself, but it
does rhyme....
