Since everyone has been so helpful with identification, I hope you can
help with this one. We have a scarf, made of a light, gauzy material,
and the pattern is made by "pinching" little bits of the fabric up,
which are then colored to form patterns, etc.
I have two pictures I have taken that I would be happy to send to
anyone, or post to all (can we send attachments?)

Most everything that came with this is late 19th century, but some into
the 20th century. What we'd like to know is how this was done, does it
have a name, and when was it made. Can you help?
