Look at the Tyvek entry on Wikipedia.  Tyvek is polyethylene, it does not
need a plasticizer to be flexible.  The base chemical is pure and
unadulterated.

Chemicals such as fire retardants and other property modifiers can be added
by the manufacturer or processor, but whatever is added has to be charged to
the client.

Hello,
Has anyone seen tech. evaluations of different "types" or "styles" of Tyvek
for use in museums?  I know that various archival supply resellers have
Tyvek that is advertised as "archival" quality but in what way does that
differ from the Tyvek at Lowes?  Thank you.
