I would like to hear of institutions that have a "museum within a museum"
structure, if such a thing exists. What I mean by this is the case where
a museum (village type in my case) acquires another building whose
significance (in terms of the ability to draw audience from further
afield) outshines any other currently at the site. Have there been other
cases such as this, if so how was it handled. Was a new name given to
the entire complexe to reflet the new building, was a museum created
within the existing structure with its own promotional material, and
perhaps even budget, board etc?? Please let me know of any such example
or if you are currently working in one.

Thank you.
