Tracie rasies a good point I should have included.

Some insurance companies have no way to deal with the rare employee who
is BOTH paid and unpaid.  <*snickers at the insurance industry*>  So,
clarify this with the HR department.  It should make no difference, as
volunteers are covered under most of the same insurance categories
pertainng to injuries sustained at the workplace.  But insurance
companies are, well, insurance companies.  LOL!
