     Seth:

The National Trust has just published its annual list of graduate and
under-graduate level historic preservation programs in the US. It is
printed in the November/December issue of "Preservation Magazine",
which is available at larger news stands or through the Trust's Web
     site: www.nthp.org.

For your information, the list has grown quite large over the last few
years for formal education programs, and therefore, the list that used
to be included for workshops, etc. was deleted. Perhaps that will give
you a hint that preservation is definitely on the rise!

     *****

For those on the list who are interested in preservation-related jobs,
become a member of the Trust's FORUM program, which is for
professionals in the field. Forum has its own Web site (available
through the Trust's Web page) and they have a good jobs board.
However, you must be a member of Forum to access the board.

Is there someone on this list who can give me information on the
state of the historic preservation field? I am interested in
knowing whether pursuing a master's degree is worthwhile.
