AFAIAA Skype does not contain any spyware. I've not seen any reports of it, and they specifically state that it doesn't on their site. I've not used it, but I have it downloaded (just waiting for my brother, who has emigrated to NZ, to get into the house he's bought and have a permanent internet connection).
