For our New York and San Francisco-based gallery client we are seeking
a Gallery Director for the New York location.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of running the New
York offices and location, including sales; publicity development;
client relations; exhibition schedules, installation and related duties;
oversee staff of 2 (registrar/preparator and administrative assistant);
liaise with owners in SF location; other duties as necessary.
The position involves a strong degree of autonomy: the candidate
must be able to guide and shape the gallery's New York identity
while confirming the high professional standards and aesthetic quality
established by the SF office.

The ideal applicant will have at least 5 years in a similar role at a
major commercial gallery, preferably in NYC, and possess superlative
communications, organizational and managerial skills. BA in art history
required: MA preferred. Some curatorial experience a plus.
