The Washington Conservation Guild would like to remind interested persons
that there are still just a few slots open, for registration for the October
30th Burn Recovery Workshop being held in Rockville MD.

This year's focus will be on the salvage of contents from historic houses,
but will also include a presentation by conservators with personal
observations of the disasters at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
We will also hear from Susan Page, a senior conservator at the National
Archives, who will talk about their experiences with an arson event at their
offsite storage facility.

If you would like to reserve a place at the workshop, or live in the DC area
and have items to donate for the burn, please send an email to WCG Outreach
Coordinator Michele Pagan at:

An announcement and registration form will be sent to you via email, in time
for the workshop.

Thank you,
Michele Pagan
