Hello!

I have a quick thought in case you decide to use a band saw and
haven't yet considered making a jig. You can make a jig yourself, or
ask somebody to help you figure it out. It is not very complicated or
costly, but would enable execution of straight edge on a bend saw much
easier, and importantly FASTer. Essentially you will push one
plexiglas against a straight edge of a jig, thus eliminating a need
for hold the plexiglas and direct a straight cut - practically very
difficult to do. Besides, a jig will make it easier to cut several
pieces to the same size.

I hope this comment is relevant. I don't have experience working with
display covers, but I have some experience cutting plastics, and I
love bend-saw. Good luck!
