Thank you for your very speedy response to my question about e-mail and
privacy at the work place.  It seems that there is a consensus that
administrators do have the right to access e-mail as they would with
traditional corespondence and   generally do respect the right personal
privacy.

We were curious to know if this was a given in museums around the world -
and what better place to ask this, than museum-L.
