TITLE: "Zigi Ben-Haim: Journey With Me"

ORGANIZERS: The Consulate General of Israel in celebration of the 50th
Anniversary of Israel, in conjunction with International Arts & Artists,
Washington, D.C.
DESCRIPTION: Zigi Ben-Haim came into prominence in the late 1970's as an
artist who experimented with unconventional materials for sculpture. His
works of that period made with hand -cast pulp are in collections throughout
the United States and his native Israel. Born in Iraq and educated in both
the U.S. and Israel, Ben-Haim still remains one of Israel's most prominent
artists, despite his more than 20 years of residency in the U.S. This
exhibition is highly suitable for the outdoors. It has enormous appeal,
because Ben-Haim uses a wide range of materials and creates sculptures in a
variety of sizes. He is attempting to explore nature through his art, which
results in a playful yet serious body of work.
ART OBJECTS: Thirteen (13) works suitable for outdoor exhibition. They are
made primarily with industrial and construction materials. They are "human
scale" ranging in size up to ten feet in their largest dimensions.

TITLE: "Lynn Chadwick: Sculptural Revelations"

ORGANIZERS: Berman Museum of Art, Ursinus College, Collegeville, PA and

DESCRIPTION: Lynn Chadwick is one of the leading British sculptors of the
twentieth century. Winner of the International Sculpture Prize at the 1956
Venice Biennale, he has achieved fame in Europe for his dynamic bronze
figures, and his work has been exhibited in, and collected by, major museums
worldwide. Due to its recognizable, energetic forms this work is easily
accessible to all viewers.
ART OBJECTS: Twenty-five works of art including nine large scale and four
medium scale (indoor or outdoor), and eight small scale sculptures, and four
lithograph prints. International & Artists will provide four all-weather
pedestals for the outdoor sculptures. The museum will need to provide
pedestals or a case for the indoor sculptures.
•All large (except Teddy Boy and Girl) and medium size sculptures are
suitable for presentation in museum gardens or other outdoor park settings.
They may also be shown indoors with Teddy Boy and Girl and the small
sculptures.

TITLE: "John Dreyfuss: Sculptor"
DATES AVAILABLE: September 1998 - December 1999
ORGANIZER: International Arts & Artists in conjunction with John Dreyfuss
ARTIST: Nationally noted sculptor John Dreyfuss lives and works in
Washington D.C. where he was born in 1949. Trained as both an architect
(University of Pennsylvania School of Architecture) and an artist (Harvard
Graduate School of Design), Dreyfuss has been continuously divided between
these two loves. Over the past fifteen years while continuously working on his
sculpture, Dreyfuss meticulously completed the restoration of Halcyon House,
one of Georgetown's most significant historic properties. Winner of the
National Sculpture Society's 1994 Hexter Prize, Dreyfuss' baseball works
have been toured through the U.S. and overseas under the auspices of the
Smithsonian Institution.
DESCRIPTION: Dreyfuss' highly-designed representational works, which
include animal imagery and six life-sized baseball player figures totaling
nineteen cast-bronze sculptures in the exhibition. All works come mounted on
steel bases, suitable for presentation in museum gardens or other outdoor park
settings. They may also be shown indoors.

TITLE: "Richard Hunt: Affirmations"
DATES AVAILABLE: for the full exhibition are August 1998 - December 1998
(negotiable);

ORGANIZERS: This exhibition tour is organized by International Arts & Artists
for the
Museum of African American History in Detroit.
DESCRIPTION: This exhibition celebrates one of America's finest sculptors,
Richard Hunt. For more than forty years, Hunt has impressed the public with
his dynamic and majestic sculpture. In 1971, he was the first African-
American sculptor to have a one-person exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art
in New York. He has completed more public commissioned sculpture than perhaps
any living American artist, with nearly 100 public commissions in cities
throughout the United States, including Chicago, New York, and Washington D.C.

TITLE: "Carl Milles-Sculpture"

CURATOR: Staffan Carlén, Director, Millesgården, Stockholm, Sweden
ORGANIZERS: Organized in conjunction with Millesgården and the Royal Embassy
of Sweden to the U.S.
DESCRIPTION: Carl Milles (1875-1955) is a celebrated artist in his homeland,
Sweden, and is best known for his large public sculpture. His studies in
Paris at the turn of the century led him to work in the atelier of Auguste
Rodin, an experience which influenced his earlier work. Milles became quite
popular in Europe, particularly in his native Sweden, in the 1920's. From
1931-1951 he resided in the U.S. as resident sculptor and head of Department
of Sculpture at the famous Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills,
Michigan. During his two decades in the U.S., he became known as one of the
premier designers of large public sculpture as he completed many major
fountains and outdoor works around the country. Millesgården, his home and
studio in Stockholm, is a national museum and major Scandinavian tourist
attraction.

CATALOGUE: A catalog in English is already available. Included are 80 pages
of color and black and white photographs as well as a biography of the artist,
and essays on his works in the U.S.
