...that there used to be a usenet newsgroup for this group.

How many would be interested in forming another one? The reason I
ask is that the headache necessary to reply or post to this group (for me,
at least) is almost beyond the value of the newsgroup. It takes me a good
5-7 minutes to reply to one post, mostly because I have to go back and
cut out all the stuff that nobody seems to cut out of their replies.

For example, I saw on a recent message, that someone replied to another
post, in ONE SENTENCE, and they did not cut out any of the other info
that came with the post, and what should have been a short entry had
an additional 47 extra lines of junk.

I would be willing to try to set up a new Usenet Newsgroup for those
who would like the functionality.

I'd also be willing to bet that there will be a number of people who will
automatically be against it, because it is something new.

Opinions, comments, suggestions?

I'm willing to try to set up a newsgroup, which will make replying, 
threading
and archiving the list a whole lot easier in the long run...
