Dear Colleagues,

I am announcing my retirement from the position of Executive Director of 
the Ellen Noël Art Museum, effective at the end of this fiscal year, August 
31, 2006, with the hiring of a new CEO.  During the sixteen years I have 
been Director at ENAM, a devoted and energetic board/staff/volunteer team 
has doubled the size of the facility, expanded educational programming and 
staff, hosted and produced exciting exhibitions, expanded our collections, 
planned for the future, and achieved our accreditation from the American 
Association of Museums.  This 20th anniversary year for the Museum is the 
appropriate time for new energy and new vision for the future.  The Board 
will announce the position immediately and begin a nationwide search for a 
new Executive Director.
