Shana-
The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco just had their first community
advisory meeting this past Tuesday, Oct. 21st for the Tervuren and
Harlem Renaissance exhibits that will be showing early next year. These
exhibits deal with African and African-American art. If you would like
more information, or wish to be part of the process, I would recommend
talking to Vas Prabhu, Director of Education, 415-750-3640. FAM has
also had advisory committees for other exhibits such as the Beat exhibit
and Teotihuacan, and she may be able to give you some feedback on her
personal experiences.

Hope this helps, and maybe we will meet in the future.
