Becky Orfinger, a Cornell student, wrote an excellent paper "Virtual Science
Museums as Learning Environments: Interaction for Education," which we
published in the Nov.-Dec. issue (no. 33) of The Informal Learning Review. In
that paper she examined sixteen science museum sites, reported on the feature
they have in common that make them educationally superior, and described the
sites of The Exploratorium, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, and
the (US) National Air and Space Museum in detail.
