Friend or Faux: Using (Ripping Off) the Images of others in Your Work, a free
seminar scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 1:30-5pm at the University of
Texas' Performing Arts Complex.  The seminar will explore legal and aesthetic
issues raised by the practice of appropriating existing images for use in
artwork. Speakers include Louise Lawler [who was mentioned earlier this/last
week?]
