Comprehensive Interpretive Plans: A Framework of Questions

If your institution is considering embarking on creating an interpretive plan, the series of questions that Marianna Adams and Judy Koke provide in this article, in the current issue of the Journal of Museum Education, is invaluable for getting you started. Practical questions you may not have considered specifically, like “Why should the public support us?” and “Is it realistic to expect that the community see us as we see ourselves?” are among the many posed here to serve as a basis for a reflective and productive institutional (or institutional/community) discussion.
