>>The job appears to be full-time to me, but obviously, this is all the
board
feels it can pay at this time. I sure would like to know if they manage to
fill this position (can someone post a follow-up).

And, really, this is the equivalent of $29,000 to $35,000 PA, if it were
full-time. <<

I agree that this job sounds full-time. And I (also) do not wish to
discourage the posting of salaries -- anyone who thinks this is too low and
does not feel that they can find another part-time job to make ends meet
simply will not apply, rather than applying and THEN finding that the salary
is too low for their needs.

However, I question the statement that it is equivalent to $29,000-35,000
assumes that "part-time" equals "half-time". I work 4 days/week and am
considered "part-time". I saw nothing in the description to specify no more
than 20 hrs/wk of work. This looks like a great opportunity for someone
fresh out of school to get into the museum field, assuming you can find a
way to make the salary work for you. But I would caution any applicants to
find out how many hours/wk this job will actually entail before you assume
that you've got time for a second P/T job.
