I hope that as one of its purposes, this List exists to serve museum
professionals in carrying out their work, whether it be finding a sublet in
Manhattan or inquiring about complimentary admissions policies the museums
have for visiting museum folk.  Gee, the query about the sublet was only
3-4 lines long.

In two instances, I have posted notes to inquire about practices at other
museums.  In both cases, there were exactly three responses.   I guess we
might be accused of ignoring one another, if my queries are any indication.
 But I hope we don't become so cold-hearted that we issue complaints about
innocent inquiries of any kind.
