I know this topic has come up before. Our director has asked for current comments from the museum field regarding the impact of on-line auctions and Antiques Road Show on donations. Have you noted a significant decline in donations that you can attribute to potential donors choosing to sell the items on e-bay? Have you seen an increase in the number of requests to return donations that you think might be motivated by the donor's desire to sell the item? Is it a growing problem or just a side issue?

This group possesses an amazing wealth of cumulative knowledge. Your comments and suggestions are always appreciated.
