Dear Museum-L members,

On May 2, I will be part of a panel discussion called "Teaching Museum Teachers: Issues in Undergraduate Preparation of Museum Educators" at the AAM annual meeting. The session will focus on the "usefulness of university pre-service preparation, prior experience, and on-the- job training" (AAM Preliminary Program). I will discuss my personal experiences during my part of the session, but I am also hoping to expand the content so it will be more useful for museum education job-seekers and upcoming professionals.

If you currently work in museum education, would you please help by completing the short survey pasted below? Please send your response directly to me at [log in to unmask] I would appreciate receiving all responses by Wednesday, April 20. (I apologize if the formatting makes this survey difficult to read. I can send a Word copy to any individuals who prefer it.) I will summarize the results in a new post if there is interest. Of course, you are all welcome at the panel session if you are attending the annual meeting.

Please excuse cross-postings. I thank you sincerely for your time and input!
