LifeinItaly.com, a website/online community dedicated to every aspect of
Italian life and culture, along with fresco panel artists Sergio Bonometti
and Giovanni Bressana, are currently seeking a collaboration with any arts
or culture venue in the Washington DC Area. These venues may include, but
are not limited to, small museums, art galleries, language schools,
libraries, universities, community colleges, churches and cultural centers.
The idea is to create a small exhibition to display their fine collection of
Italian fresco panels, in which the visitors are able to not only view the
frescoes and learn about this creative art form, but also to purchase these
panels if they so desire.

These pictures were previously created in Italy, and shipped to the United
States for the purpose of exhibition and eventual selling. They are
presently located at the LifeinItaly Headquarters in Rockville, MD. There
are about 20-25 pieces in this collection, done in the classic fresco
paintings styles, reproduced and derived from old masterpieces by Giotto,
Michelangelo and Caravaggio. Other subjects include symbols of Greek and
Roman mythology,
religious icons, narratives and landscapes (panorama).

The purpose of this proposed exhibition is to educate the American public,
who have always had strong connections to Italy due to immigration and
ancestry, about this age-old craft still widely used in Italy today. Its
mission is also to revive the old art technique of the Italian frescoes,
which were widely executed during the height of splendor with the
Renaissance masters and used to decorate both the interior and exterior of
buildings and church vaults.

The time frame for this exhibition is negotiable, as well as the expenses of
putting this together. Interested parties should contact Public Relations
Freelancer Laura Kuah (CV and references provided on request), on behalf of
Paolo Nascmbeni, director of LifeinItaly, for more information regarding
this project.
