Dear Fritz and Bernard:

I think the sign you refer to will be found in "Museum Security," edited
by Bob Tillotson and published by ICOM and The International Committee
On Museum Security on page 144.  The sign starts with: WHY WE ASK YOU
NOT TO TOUCH and goes on to explain the reasons in a short easily
understandable manner.
