I noted some very convoluted solutions to avoid wall surface residue
and marring when using foam double sided tape. The solution is to contact
your regional 3M tape division rep. At OHS we use a number of different
formulations tailored to the specific use. There are hundreds available.
We use #4432 YEA 017 1 3 3356 (I believe only the first 4 digits are
necessary) foam,all black, 1/2"wide and removable. This is much more
effective than "Hold-it", without the inevitable sliding label effect or
residue problems.
