Have you called the publisher to find out if they do "rush orders" if
you're willing to pay extra? I'd be surprised if they didn't, I was an
acquisitions librarian for a number of years (and if y'all want to gripe
about low salaries for important but unappreciated professions: try being
a librarian ... <sigh>) in a DC "think tank" where the scholars often
wanted the books they ordered today on their desk yesterday, and rush
orders would at least get the books to us within a few days, or even in
some instances overnight.

Mario Rups (who is now a librarian *in* a museum ... and, believe me, you
don't wanna open up the conversation of *that* salary <whimper>)
