Matt,
I understand that the High Desert Museum (Bend) has a fully functioning
steam powered saw mill. Original equipment, not replica. I'm not sure if
this helps, but... they might be able to help.  I believe that they have a
new exhibits director - not sure what his name is.
They seem like good people up there. It might be worth a phone call.
