Paul,
Across the street from the Detroit Institute of Arts is the Detroit Historical
Museum.  The have a permanent exhibit onthe history of the automobile, but that
is not their sole purpose.  They are not online. Somewhere in Kentucky they
have just opened or are planning to open soon, a Corvette Museum.  Henry Ford
Museum/Greenfield Village has permanent auto exhibits - someone there must be
online... I'm sure they will speak up if on Museum-l.....
