A bit off the beaten path but...the Jefferson County Historical Society
in Watertown, NY has a set of elaborately carved teak wood furniture that
was purchased from the Chinese exhibit at the Exposition. (I believe they
even have the bills) The furniture was purchased by a local banker for
his "new" home -- now thwe home of the historical society.
