Maybe this isn't quite what you are looking for, but the University of
Denver hosted some Tibetan monks last year who created a sand mandala.  You
may also want to contact the Denver Art Museum's Asian department- they have
a permanent installation of a sand mandala that was created by Tibetan
monks.
