there was a story in the Philadelphia Inquirer recently about a man auctioning items, such as original pardons by Lincoln, on EBay. Sorry I can't give you any more information, but i did think this was odd, considering the collections cataloging databases out there, and the worldwide access to EBay (he was sure to get caught). As soon as he was found out, he apologized, and his lawyer was quoted as saying how great it was that he owned up to it. uch.
