A Reason to Celebrate 2004: 
Campbell Center Courses begin our 25th year and our historic college campus will be 150 years old!
 

2004 marks the 25th anniversary of our founding and to celebrate, the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies, located in Mt. Carroll, Illinois, USA, is pleased to announce our 2004 course schedule. 

NEW courses this year include: 

Two new preventive care courses:"Care of Furniture" (Craig Deller & Wendy Leeds) and "Care of Leather & Fur" (Helen Alten). Also being developed is a course on museum exhibition lighting by Toby Raphael. 

"The Preservation of Historic Cemeteries" (Susan Maltby, Dennis Montagna, & Per Neumeyer) is new in the Historic Preservation Department. Two one day workshops, "Preserving Historic Trees" (Charles Pepper) and "Victorian High Style & Vernacular Landscape Design" (Dean Sheaffer), are also being offered in this area. 

"Enzymes and their Target Uses" (Hal Erickson) is a new Conservation Refresher course. Frank Mowery will teach the "Pulp Repairs of Paper" course.
