You're lucky.  Around here nobody understands or is supportive.

Once I was merrily defleshing embalmed remains, just minding my own
business, when some jerk came along and said, "hey, can you keep the noise
down?"  So I said, "Uh, right, doofus -- this isn't like peeling a potato,
you know!"

I hate it when when people do stuff like that.
