The Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies is recruiting for
the following intern position.

Job Title:
SCEMS Research Assistant Intern

Description:
The Smithsonian Center for Education and Museum Studies (SCEMS) provides
leadership in education at the Smithsonian and produces a variety of
programs, services, and resources for the education and museum communities.
The Center studies education at the Institution and builds consensus on
standards for strengthening its educational programs, publications, and
websites.

The ADCRS intern will provide support to Smithsonian units in their use of
the Audience Data Collection Reporting System. This system is designed to
track the public's experiences with Smithsonian education programs.

Duties will include:
- assisting Smithsonian staff with system access
- explaining data collection methodology
- facilitating the data entry process at various museums and research
divisions.

Qualifications:
- Applicants should have an interest in visitor studies and research
methods.
- Knowledge of databases or SAS a plus.
- Assistance on additional visitor studies projects possible.

Location: Washington, DC

Compensation Type: Unpaid
