There is a position open in my department that might appeal to some on this
list...

Position Open: ­Manager of Living Collections

The Chicago Academy of Sciences /Notebaert Nature Museum is seeking a highly
motivated biologist to be our manager of living collections.  This
individual will report to the curator of biology, and will be responsible
for overseeing the daily care of all animals in the Museum's living
collection and for running the Academy's butterfly breeding program.

Applicants should have a Master's degree in the biological sciences, or five
years experience working with living invertebrates.  Experience with
maintaining laboratory cultures of butterflies is highly desirable.
Applicants should be comfortable working with a variety of insects,
reptiles, and amphibians, including some venomous species, and should be
able to lift 50 lb.  The candidate should also have a valid driver's
license.  Enthusiasm for invertebrate conservation is essential.
