As the owner of IAML-L (the distribution list for material relating
to the International Association of Music Libraries) I was pleased to
note that the announcement of the establishment of that list has been
posted on SICHAT-L and MUSEUM-L
 
The subscription procedure for IAML-L has been simplified since the
initial writing of the message posted here. All that is now necessary
is to send a message to
 
    [log in to unmask]
 
containing the command
 
    SUBSCRIBE IAML-L                      .
 
This command must be at the beginning of a line in the body of the
text which is preceded neither by any blank line, nor by any line
which might be interpreted as containing the command EXIT.
