Regarding Grace Rpakin's inquiry of 30 November on Exhibition Visitor Flow.

The Internet has now become telepathic. Grace's message was almost word for
word a message I intended to post to the list today.

The Department of Art and Design at the University of Alberta is planning an
exhibition of "old master's" drawings (17th through 20th centuries) of
approximately 140 smaller, framed works, to be exhibited in a small gallery of
3200 square feet on two levels. The route through the exhibition, because of
its unusual layout, is not linear but circular, that is you have to back track
a bit. Maximum numbers of visitors at any one given time is 150. We are
currently developing our marketing plan for the exhibit and are determining
numbers of visitors, ticketing systems, etc. For those of you replying
directly to Grace, please reply to me as well or to the list. In addition to
Grace's questions I would also like information on pros and cons of advance
ticket sales, ticket prices, use of ticketing agencies, and also any references
to studies on audience flow through art exhibitions. Hope this isn't asking
too much! Thanks.
