At the following link is a statement of overall programming philosophy,
which may help you when designing exhibit policies. This philosophy was
developed for Pittsburgh's original Buhl Planetarium and Institute of
Popular Science [a.k.a. Buhl Science Center] which operated as
Pittsburgh's primary Science and Technology Museum from 1939 to 1991.
This statement of programming philosophy was issued on 1983 February 28:
