Hi, due to lack of space I have been deleting almost everything, so do
not have the original reference to a posting on Crokinole Boards. Here
is a reference that might prove useful. Unfortunately this little museum
has no e-mail or web page so must be contacted by phone/fax/snail mail.
Joseph Schneider Haus is a Mennonite Georgian Vernacular House that is
restored to approx 1850s condition. Its interpretation date it 1856 and
it shows the life of a local, to Waterloo County Ontario, Mennonite
family. I don't work there but have visited many times. Part of their
collection includes antique crokinole boards, one of which is claimed to
be the oldest in the county or something. Crokinole is still played
around here - Kitchener, Ontario - .
