Our museum applied for a Preserve America grant (through the National Park
Service) last month. The grant requires a resolution by your local governing
body, in our case the Louisville Metro Council, showing their support for
your organization, so we said we would send it after it's passed by the
Council in January. We have no clue how to word this "resolution". I've
e-mailed and called the program office for suggested language but no
response. There is a sample resolution on the Preserve America website but
that's for the designation, not the project grant. Did anyone else have to
get a resolution or have any other ideas? Thanks!
