We are currently running "Classic" Argus, but due to hardware
problems are without access to any of our records (we have about
20,000 of our 50,000 records on Argus now). Argus is
recomennding an upgrade to their new Open Edition product, at
considerable expense.

What we want to know at this time is if the upgrade is worth the
expense. Can anyone recommend a good, relativly inexpensive software
package for IBM machines? Has anyone out there left Argus and what
did you replace it with? If so, is the new application better,
worse, or about the same?

TIA for your help.
