This a query to see if any museums out there use some type of method to
check into the backgrounds of potential volunteers and/or other museum
personnel?

Since we will be serving a large audience which will mainly consist of
school age children, we want to afford the safest environment for these
children. We are currently working with local authorities but would like
to know about how other museums handle background investigations?

Thank you,

Carrie Hernandez, Education Specialist
