Interning and volunteering at a museum is often times the best way to get
your foot in the door.

Also, consider attending museum conferences to network, such as the
California Association of Museums or the WEstern Museums Association.

Lastly, check out museum and museum association websites.  they usually have
job listings.

I am interested in advancing my career in Museums.  Ideally making the jump
into an art museum.  My thoughts were that an internship at a museum would
be the perfect step to make the transition.  I believe that it would afford
me immediate opportunities while I gained an enormous amount of on the job
