Dear Mr. Bailey,  Thank you for the information on oleates/verdigris.  There
may be too much dressing precipitating on the serface of the leather goods,
but due to some recent - and persistant - mechanical difficulties and to a
slight odor, I suspect mold may be at work on our leather artifacts.  Thanks
for the advice on acetone, ethanol and IMS.  We do have a supply of the first
