        In addition to the Memorial Art Gallery, Rochester has the Strong
Museum, which was initiated by the will of Margaret Woodbury Strong. She
had received a charter from New York state for the "Margaret Woodbury
Strong Museum of Fascination" but her will left it to her trustees to
decide how and if her collections could be turned into a (well-endowed)
museum.
