David,

The audio and VHS tapes are relatively easy, as noted by Ivan, with a
mutimedia PC(or Mac) and good translation software. Of course you'll need a
VHS player/audio player and all the required MIDI hookups. There are
several versions of the software. Best Buy or your local computer stroe
will have everything you need for that, as well as advice on how to set it
up.

Reel to reel transfer is another animal. It generally requires a special
device to play the tape directly into a digital receiver. Depending on how
many you have to do, you would be better off having a professional transfer
those to DVD for you. It is not enormously expensive, and there should be
several in your local phonebook. They would also be able to do the VHS and
audio, and might give you a package deal, and save you some trouble.

Good luck.

We are interested in transferring reel-to-reel tapes, VHS, and cassette to
Digital. Has anyone does this, and what equipment have you used?
Thanks
David
